Waves

"Waves" is one of the most important and leading themes in my artwork. Waves are found everywhere in our lives, in nature, the environment, in our whole world. Observing specific waves in the ocean there is this fascinating consistency in unpredictable highs and lows which always seem to be leading and heading somewhere. In my artwork these organic forms, inspired by nature, play the most important role. Creating organic forms means for me creating new waves which can carry each viewer to its very individual interpretation. To me, waves symbolize continuity and freedom, two essential aspects of life.
